Give away The Story Siren  (Sorry i don't know how to put up the links for other people's blogs)

Source:   To Possibly Win
Add it: Goodreads
Release Date: Feb 28, 2012

Elyse knows what it means to keep a secret. She’s been keeping secrets her whole life. Two, actually. First, that she ages five times slower than the average person, so that while she looks eighteen years old, she’s closer to eighty. Second, that her blood has a mysterious power to heal. For Elyse, these things don’t make her special. They make life dangerous. After the death of her parents, she’s been careful to keep her secret as closely guarded as possible. Now, only one other person in the world knows about her age and ability. Or so she thinks. Elyse is not the only one keeping secrets. There are others like her all over the world, descendants of the very people the Greeks considered gods. She is one of them, and they have been waiting for her for a long time. Among so many of her kind, she should not be very remarkable–except for the prophecy. Some believe she will put an end to traditions, safeguarded by violence, which have oppressed her people for centuries. Others are determined to keep her from doing just that. But for Elyse, the game is just beginning–and she’s not entirely willing to play by their rules.

Okay so this is my first blog post for a book

Source:   Purchased
Publisher: McElderry Books
Release Date: December 6th, 2011
Format: Hardcover, 502 pages + Wills letter to his family and to Tessa in the Tale Of Two Cities book

Warning: I refuse to spoil anything I am just doing my opinion :)

So I have just finished reading this book and the first thing that I have to say WOW!

Cassandra Clare has really out done herself on this one.

In the magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray has at last found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when rogue forces in the Clave plot to see her protector, Charlotte, replaced as head of the Institute. If Charlotte loses her position, Tessa will be out on the street-and easy prey for the mysterious Magister, who wants to use Tessa's powers for his own dark ends.
With the help of the handsome, self-destructive Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister's war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. He blames them for a long-ago tragedy that shattered his life. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors, from the slums of London to an enchanted ballroom where Tessa discovers that the truth of her parentage is more sinister than she had imagined. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister himself knows their every move-and that one of their own has betrayed them.
Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, though her longing for Will, despite his dark moods, continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will-the wall he has built around himself is crumbling. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers about who she is and what she was born to do?
As their dangerous search for the Magister and the truth leads the friends into peril, Tessa learns that when love and lies are mixed, they can corrupt even the purest heart.

Before I say what I thought of the book I want to put out their that in Clockwork Angel I loved Will, but I thought that Tessa and Jem should be together, mainly because of Will's actions. But now that i have read it I think that it could go either way.

In this book, Casandra Clare takes the readers farther into the journey of Tessa Grey's life. There are twist and turns all throughout the book and that is one of the things I like the most, you never know how it will end.

For this book the things that stood out to me to most was what Cassandra Clare did with the characters. We as the readers get to learn more about why Will acts the way he does, why he is more compassionate to Jem. To be truthfully honest I had been wondering what made Will tick.

We got to find out about Will's back story, it definitely was not what i suspected it to be, it was emotional and brought out a lot of pathos from me. It made us understand why Will constantly pushes people away.

But this book was not just about Will, there was a lot of Jem. It still has our kind Jem that we all love dearly, but if there are any EXTREME Jem fans out there, like the people who believe that they could possibly marry him or other book characters, you may be a bit disappointed.

Even though, as you may know the most important thing for our young Shadowhunters was to find The Magister, I like the fact that it wasn't the only thing that was put into focus.

The only part of this book that I don't like is the fact that I have to wait until February 2013 :'( until the next book comes out, i want to read the next book but I don't want it to end. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

I recommend this book for all book lovers :)

Hockey

Okay so my first official blog post (or as i like to call it rant session) is going to be about last nights hockey game, between the Toronto Maple Leafs <3 and the Montreal Canadians.

Well what can I say I am absolutely over the moon about the out come (can you guess what team I cheer for?)

The game might have started off in Montreal's favor with the first goal coming from Erick Cole (#23), seven minutes into the game's first period. But we got our redemption in the second period when Matt Frattin (#6) scored six and a half minutes into it.

But I believe that the real highlight was when Mikhail Grabovski (#19) got two goals in the last period, which brought home the victory.

Now, to be completely honest on the past Thursday I spent my entire lunch reading the news for any indication that Brian Burke was going to fire our beloved (well not so much loved) Ron Wilson, I believe that mine and many other leaf fans hopes were answered, on Friday night when it was announced that Randy Carlyle's was replacing him.

This is what brought us to last night our second win in the past twelve games.

When Burke and Carlyle were brought together in 2007 they took their team to win the Stanley Cup and I believe that we will at least make it into the playoffs after our seven seasons without making it it.

I am not too sure if we will win, because I think that the boys need a little bit more experience, but I do believe that they will make it to the playoff''s I don't know how far they will get, or even if anyone is behind me but I am pretty sure that they will do better then the 2010-2011 season.

HIIIIII :D

So if your reading this blog I think you might want to know what it going to be about, but I am sure you have some kind of idea by my name.

But, before I tell you what this blog is going to be about I think I should tell you a little bit about me.

Well I am typically not the average six-teen year old, I don't care for what others think about me I am the type of person that would rather be doing something for themselves and not doing something to make others happy. I like ALL TYPES of rock music mainly the stuff from the 80's cause i just like the style better but I still listen to newer music like D.R.U.G.S, Falling in Reverse (has anyone else noticed that this could just be standing up?), Hollywood Undead, Three Days Grace, and I think you get it.

I tend to ramble on about things so you should most likely try to get used to it.

I love hockey and almost any other sport, well not basketball (I don't mean any harm to those who like it I just don't find it interesting). BUT most of all I love to read, thanks to one of my amazing friends.

Now that you know about me how about I talk about what this blog will be about. I think that sounds good.

It would mostly be about books, mostly YA books, and anything supernatural. But that's not all  it will most likely be about music and my sports rambling ( I am warning you now I am a  HUGE hockey fan )

And that is it for my first post :)
